We hope you will enjoy and use the club often. Our club is 100% volunteer run, so your efforts are required to maintain and improve the facilities and property.
The club consists of 164 acres in a nearly perfect square. The property lines are Beth Avenue to the east, the Dominion gas pipeline (cleared easement) to the south and the fence rows/planted fields to the north and west. Please respect the neighbor’s property lines.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the club’s rules and bylaws (found on this site). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask one of our board members.
Your club membership is valid for you, your spouse and your children under the age of 16.
You may bring a guest onto the property to show them around, but they are not allowed to use the ranges or other club facilities.
You should have received a slip of paper with a four-digit code for the gate lock.
The gate may be left open while you are on club grounds.
If you are the last one leaving the club, close and lock the gate as you exit.
You are required to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours a year on any club project of your choosing to maintain your membership status. As you spend time at the club and talk to other members, you will quickly learn what needs to be done. If in doubt, please ask a board member.
Members must have a minimum of 20 volunteer hours to hunt or fish at the club.
Work hours are recorded in a binder on the outside of the Still Target Building (first building on your right after you drive past the pond).
Range safety is everyone’s responsibility. If you see something, say something. You are responsible for every bullet that leaves your barrel.
Absolutely no alcohol on the ranges.
You must clean up after yourself. This Includes cleaning up all brass, targets, etc.
Absolutely no glass targets. Members hunt and train dogs on these same ranges.
Do not shoot the steel target supports. Do not place targets on or near the supports. You will be held accountable for any damage.
All ranges are closed until 1:00 on Sundays. Ranges are closed all day Monday through Saturday during pheasant season and until 1:00 during turkey season. Ranges may also be closed during some events, such as work parties, sporting clay shoots, etc. Check the club calendar (located on our website) for dates and times the ranges will be closed.
The pistol range (located to the north side of the road) is closed any time there is an event at the clubhouse. It is your responsibility to drive up to the clubhouse and check before using this range. Note that this range is closed every Tuesday evening due to our weekly trap shoots.
